Louis A. Kenney joined San Diego State College with the title of College Librarian in 1961. Here he poses in the library book stacks. Later his title was changed to Director of Libraries. At this time the library was housed in Hardy Tower and the Library Annex (later Professional Studies and Fine Arts). When Kenney retired in 1980 he was named Emeritus Librarian and remained active in the Friends of the Library.
