M. Kashower Co., Los Angeles, California
The Hotel Hollywood, also called the Hollywood Hotel after the 1920s, was located on Hollywood Boulevard. The land for it was purchased in 1902. This was the expanded four-story structure, with renovations begun in 1905, lasting until 1910. The structure was demolished in 1956. In the background on the right is Bernheimer Hill, with the Japanese-style house and gardens of the Bernheimer brothers, Charles and Adolph. On the divided back of this card is the publisher's number 445; both VanOrnum and Kashower lay claim here to the title of "publisher."
