Lush greenery and flowers, without any street in sight, only a footpath, characterize this early view of Hollywood. On the far right is a residence. The number on the back of the card is A-16533, which, although unacknowledged, belonged to Curt Teich. According to the guide maintained by the Curt Teich Postcard Archives and records in this database, the number codes the date 1910. The logo on the divided back of this card shows that "O. Newman Company" shared it with the Newman Postcard Company, a green circle with the letters NPC entwined over a small "co." Their number on the back is A155.
