The Glendale Sanitarium was founded in 1905 and eventually became the Glendale Adventist Medical Center. The divided back of this postcard has a faded message "with the Compliments of the Glendale Sanitarium, Glendale, Calif.," stating that it is "the real Sanitorium of Southern California" that "is easily accessible by two electric car lines from of Los Angeles." Viewers may "apply for catalog D." The publisher operated from 1908-1921.
