This is a Real Photo Post Card (RPPC), meaning that it was created by a process in which any photographer could take a "snapshot," deliver the negative to a photo developer and have it printed on a postcard backing. The copyright written on the photograph is 1916, with the photographer's number 415 written upside down beside the copyright symbol. On the back the border of the stampbox identifies the photographic paper used as the Azo papers manufactured between 1916 and 1930.
