"On the Road of a Thousand Wonders," printed at the bottom left, indicates that this picture postcard was part of a promotion for the Southern Pacific Railroad, specifically the Coast Liine-Shasta Route. This card has a special cancellation for the Panama Pacific Exposition in San Francisco, 1915. The postmark is fully legible. Although the address is written in ink, the message is written in fading pencil. The O. Newman Company has the same logo here as the Newman Postcard Company.
