This close-up of Sugar Loaf Rock shows the stairs and observation point. In the foreground, in Avalon Bay, are a couple of glass-bottom boats for viewing of the submarine gardens (aquatic life) near the shore, with a man getting ready to dive from a rowboat to point out or retrieve items the passengers request. The number on the back of the card is A-60446, which, according to the guide maintained by the Curt Teich Postcard Archives, translates to 1915.
