Catalina Avenue runs northeast to southwest from Avalon Bay through the town of Avalon on Catalina Island. Tents, a traditional housing on Catalina, line both sides of the street. The publisher began using this company name in 1908, and the white space at the bottom indicates that the card was manufactured not too long after postal regulations allowed messages on the back (March 1, 1907). The publisher's number on the divided back is 4531.
