[Curt Teich & Co., Inc., Chicago, Illinois]
This home of the last individual owner of most of Catalina Island, William Wrigley, Jr., on Mt. Ada (named for his wife) later became the Mt. Ada Inn. It overlooks the town of Avalon off to the right. The gate shoown here was up the mountan from the Greek Amphitheatre, and the road shown here continued up the hill to the left, where another gate admitted automobiles to the garage. The publisher's number in the upper margin is C. 24. Although there is no attribution to Curt Teich, the number in the lower right corner is in a typical place for his identification--95572, which, according to the guide maintained by the Curt Teich Postcard Archives, translates to 1923.
