[Curt Teich & Co., Inc., Chicago, Illinois]
A collection of baby photographs.
The legend below the collage of baby pictures reads:
Our best crop-- one that never fails.
No Race suicide at-- Catalina.
The Bride: "Thank Heavens, it's a nightmare!"
The Old Maid: "Matrimony! Not if I know it!"
The Married Man: "Send me up a dollars worth of carbolic acid!"
The Druggist: "I'd like to supply the paregoric!"
The Bachelor: "None of those for Mine!"

"Race suicide" was a hot topic at the beginning of the 20th century due to the advocacy of birth control and the fear that it would cause the demise of any group using it. The publisher did business from 1900 to 1915, but until 1907 postcards could not have the divided back (one side for messages) this one has. The upside-down number 31840 in the stamp box indicates that this is a Curt Teich production and that the date of manufacture was 1911. The publisher's number is beside his name on the back, 3837.
