The homes of Hollywood movie stars have traditionally been the subjects of postcards. In this case the actor was Ginger Rogers (1911-1995), who was best known for starring with actor/dancer Fred Astaire in movies in which their dancing and the accompanying music were popular features. According to the Curt Teich Postcard Archives, the number in the right lower corner of this card, 8A-H2986, places its publication in 1938. The publisher's number is 825.
