Had a delightful trip up on the boat. Nice & cool. Wore my blue coat all the time. Very hot in Wilmington & the remainder of the trip. Having a pleasant visit & rest out here where its so quiet. Lovely & cool here today & rained some. Going to the Fair tomorrow. Hope you are not to [sic] lonely. Best regards to Mr. R. --
