This is the picture side of the cover of PC-000-990A and PC-000-990B, which are paper printouts of postcards glued onto the top of the inside of this sheet of cardstock. The photograph depicts the U. S. Grant Hotel (later The US Grant) after radio towers for KFVW were installed on the roof in 1926. In front of the hotel is Horton Plaza, with the electric fountain by Irving Gill (1870-1936) at bottom right. This mailpiece must have been produced between 1927 (when the El Cortez Hotel pictured inside was built) and 1930, when the Bank of Italy (also shown in the foldout) changed its name to the Bank of America.
