Panama-California Exposition of 1915
The initial building out of the expanded group shown on this hand-tinted picture postcard is the central part with pillars that juts out toward the lawn. Dedicated in 1899, this structure was designed by Irving Gill (1870-1936) and construction continued to add on until 1910. On the back of this postcard is a seal of the Panama-California Exposition of 1915. Also on the back are the publisher's number, the logo of the Benham Company and a Curt Teich number--A-29443.
