This aerial view of San Diego State College includes the Aztec Bowl, built in 1937, thus the photograph must have been taken after this date. This is a Real Photo Post Card (RPPC), a Kodak process that allowed amateur or professional photographers to take a "snap-shot" to a photo finisher and receive postcards ready for mailing. The "Defender" brand of photo papers apparently ceased production around 1940.
