This photochrome picture postcard shows a street view of the San Diego Naval Hospital. The Shospital started construction in 1922 after a tent dispensary was established in 1914. More land was deeded to the Navy and finally a new Naval Medical Center in Florida Canyon, east of this site, was dedicated in 1988. The publisher's number on the back is 52175-C.
