Designed by Eugene M. Hoffman, The Barcelona Hotel and Apartments, also known as the Barcelona Apartment Hote or later Barcelona Apartments, was built in 1922 in the Banker's Hill area of San Diego with apartments for sale. In 2005 the building underwent an indoor renovation, after which apartments were rented monthly. There is a postal code given at the top of this linen picture postcard, placing it after 1943, when postal codes were first implemented in the United States. Also the card is of a sort called "linen," only manufactured between around 1930 and the early 19502.
