The back of this picture postcard places this motel on a stretch of Pacific Highway that was part of U. S. Highway 101 at the time (since decommissioned). The logos on the left and right sides at the top signify the motel's membership in two of the largest referral chains in the US: AAA (American Automobile Association) and the United Motor Courts, which was founded in 1933 and operated until the early 1950s. In 2013 the motel address is part of an industrial area of San Diego. The Colourpicture number on the back of this card is K9208.
