The Real Photo process allowed amateur and professional photographers to take "snap shots," deliver the film to a photo-finishing shop, and take away postcards ready for mailing. Kodak invented the process and dominated the market for the paper used, but other papers, including the Cyko brand used for this card, were also manufactured. The stamp box usually indicated the type of paper used, and indices have been built detailing the years during which each version of postcard backing was manufactured. In this case, the Cyko paper was made between 1915 and 1919. There is no information given about the location or ownership of the home shown on this postcard.
