Azo photo paper
The Real Photo Post Card (RPPC) process allowed amateur and professional photographers to take "snap shots," deliver the film to a photo-finishing shop, and take away postcards ready for mailing. Kodak invented the process and dominated the market for the paper used, including the brand Azo, by which the process was often called. The stamp box usually indicated the type of paper used, and indices have been built detailing the years during which each version of postcard backing was manufactured. In this case, the Azo paper was made between 1917 and 1930. A pencilled note on the back reads, "May 1920." There is no information to indicate the location or ownership of the home.
