This picture postcard features what looks like a color photograph of the California Tower built for the Panama-California Exposition of 1915 in Balboa Park. Designed by Bertram Goodhue (1869-1924), the tower included a carillon. The dome of the California Building (later Museum of Man) can just be seen at the bottom right of the tower.
