The original church building depicted in this picture postcard, built by George Marston (1850-1946) at the corner of Sixth Avenue and A Street in San Diego, was declared unsafe in 1962 and was sold in 1971. The congregation had organized in 1886, and they eventually voted to merge with the Mission Hills United Church of Christ, in 2013 located at 4070 Jackdaw Street in San Diego.
