This hand-colored picture postcard advertises Rudder's Cafe in the Union Building in San Diego. On the reverse is a suggested message to "Dear ...," mentioning the "$10,000 Estey Pipe organ" at the venue (colored gold and visible in the photograph in the vertical middle at the right). The organ has been identified as an Opus 1125 with an "automatic playing mechanism," and the year as around 1915 by the postmarks of cards of the same run. This Union Building, home to the San Diego Union newspaper, was designed by Harrison Albright (1866-1932) in 1908.
