This picture postcard features a cartoon on the front showing an ark-like boat on a beach, with animals on the dunes behind it, against a blue sky populated with the name of the restaurant and "Eat Fine Foods." On the back (in this collection) is a cartoon map showing the location in Southern California on Highway 101. The directions given indicate a spot north of Leucadia (in 2013 part of Encinitas, California) "at the Lagoon." This would probably place the restaurant at the Batiquitos Lagoon, where Highway 101 appears to end at Carlsbad Boulevard. There appear to be no restaurants in this year closer than 1900 North Coast Highway in Encinitas (Robertos Mexican Food) to the lagoon along the highway. There are many restaurants with the name Noah's Ark in the United States in 2013, but none in Encinitas.
