Although the caption on the image portion of this color picture postcard is "San Pasquel," and the message portion on the reverse reads "San Pasquel," the message side also has "Wild Animal Park." The image, appearing to be a photograph, also looks very much like the Nairobi Village portion of what is now Safari Park, formerly the Wild Animal Park operated by the San Diego Zoo on San Pasqual Valley Road in Escondido, California. Since there is no "San Pasquel" or "San Pasquel Wild Animal Park, it appears likely that this is a view of the Wild Animal Park now going under the name of Safari Park.
