Wooden footridge over Palm Canyon, Balboa Park, San Diego
The wooden footbridge depicted here was built for the California Pacific International Exposition of 1935, held in Balboa Park, for appreciation of the palms planted there for the Panama-California Exposition of 1915. It also creates a shortcut from the Alcazar Garden to the Spreckels Organ Paviliion.
