Spreckels Organ Pavilion with outdoor pipe organ, Balboa Park, San Diego, California
John D. (1853-1926) and Adolph B. Spreckels (1857-1924) donated the Spreckels pipe organ to the City of San Diego in 1914. The Pavilion was designed by architect Harrison Albright (1866-1932) for the Panama-California Exposition of 1915 held in San Diego's Balboa Park to celebrate the completion of the Panama Canal.
