The Botanical Building ("Lath House") and lagoon (Reflecting Pool, Laguna de Espejo, Laguna de las Flores, later Lily Pond) are on the left. The building was designed by the architectural firm of Bertram Goodhue (1869-1924) for the Panama-California Exposition of 1915. The building houses a conservatory open to the weaher through its redwood lath roof, seen here at the left top. On the right is the Food and Beverages Building, as it was known during the California Pacific International Exposition of 1935. Created for the Panama-California Exposition of 1915 as the Varied Industries and Food Products Building, it was known in 1916 as the Foreign and Domestic Products Building, and later the County Fair Building. After a bond issue in 1968 approved preserving the ornamentation and replacing the building, the Casa del Prado was built and then dedicated on the same site in 1971. Both expositions were held in San Diego's Balboa Park. The Teich number in the lower left white border is 3A-H1384, from which the date was derived. The publisher's number 4403 is in the upper left border. This is a linen card produced as part of series for the 1935 exposition.
