"Natural color" post card of one of the entrances of the Palace of Foods and
Beverages during the California Pacific International Exposition of 1935 held in San Diego's Balboa Park. Also known as the Food and Beverages Building, this structure was created for the Panama-California International Exposition of 1915 as the Agriculture and Horticulture Building. In 1916 it was known as the Varied Industries and Food Products Building, later the County Fair Building. After a bond issue in 1968 approved preserving the ornamentation and replacing the building, the Casa del Prado was dedicated on the same site in 1971.
