All the buildings here were created for the 1915 Panama-California International Exposition. On the right the Varied Industries & Food Products Building, in 1916 renamed the Foreign and Domestic Products Building, known at the 1935 exposition as the Palace of Foods & Beverages, was reconstructed 1970 and in 1971 renamed the Casa del Prado. In the distance is the 1915 California State Building complex, including the California Tower and the California Building that would subsequently become the San Diego Museum of Man. Between the Casa del Prado and the California Tower, moving toward the left, are the Cafe of the World (old Home Economy Building) and the Palace of Photography (old Science and Education Building). Both the latter buildings were torn down. The Teich number in the bottom right white border is 3A-H1421, from which the date was derived. Note that the card was produced two years before the 1935 exposition, but the street name here is the one used at that time. This is a linen card produced as part of series for the 1935 exposition. The publisher's number 4408 is in the upper left border.
