Los Angeles, Calif.,

Dear Sir:-
Your favor of the 10th inst., is received.
We cannot accept half fare for children under 12 years of age, unless they eat in the Nurses' Dining Hall, where the accommodations are equal to the Main Dining Hall, and where most children are placed by their parents. Whenever children take their meals with their parents in the main Dining Room they must pay full rates, as it requires just as much room and even more attention from the waiter than a grown person demands. Will pass Ticket #40 issued by you, however.

Yours truly,
E. S. Babcock Jr
