Dan'l Meyer, Esq.,
San Francisco, Calif.,

Dear Sir:-- I am just in receipt of your favor of the 28th wish.
The hotel did have six hundred guests, and I believe the table is better than that of the del Monte. Of course, you know I am prejudiced, but I think our table has been better all Winter than that of any other hotel on the coast. You should come down and try it yourself.

The washouts are going to cut our March business some. February's business was the largest we have over had for any one month. Do not yet know what the profits were for Feb. but I hope from $12,000. to $15,000.

Yours truly,
E.S. Babcock
