F.G. Barry, Esq.,
Utica, N.Y.,

Dear Sir:-
I commenced wiring the TIMES-UNION day before yesterday, and will have the matter attended to daily.
In regard to Appleton's Winter Resort Guide, they have asked me for an advertisement, but I have paid no attention to the request.
In regard to butter, if it can be put up so it can be kept, we can take care of it in cold storage, here. The thermometer of the cold storage rooms runs 40 to 50 degrees. Do not know what the rate is on butter, but should judge about two cents per lb.
Am glad to learn the papers are going to print the arrivals. I approve of the plan of purchasing copies.

Yours truly,
E.S. Babcock
