Tascher leaps into the air with a rifle during the filming of the parody of "Beau Geste." Behind him are some of the buildings of the Indian Pueblo or Village at Balboa Park, razed in 1946 and replaced by the Veterans Memorial. Tascher's fraternity, Sigma Lambda, sponsored the only three showings of the film, at San Diego State College in 1940.
