According to the short history given in this issue, "the first baccaleureate honors in the history of San Diego" (an A. B. degree) were given to eleven students this year. That is, a four-year course of study had been approved, 2 years of general training (the Junior College), and two years in the "Teachers' College" for a "major in education." Some of the "graduates" of the two-year programs were expected to "remain and take their A. B. degreees in two years."
