Post, Lauren C., Editor
A photograph of Griffith "Griff" Williams accompanies the story that Williams is missing in action. It marks the first instance of an individual photograph of a serviceman, and Post shares his memory of when they met. This is the first News Letter to include a list of those from San Diego State who have been decorated for their service. Post also includes his personal letter to Wallace "Wally" McAnulty with news of home, information about McAnulty's peers, and details about the News Letter publication process.
