Wade pretends to hit Whited in the head with his rifle. Buildings in the background identify this set where members of San Diego State College's Sigma Lambda and others filmed this part of the parody of "Beau Geste" as Balboa Park. The Indian Village or Pueblo was used in two international expositions and then razed in 1946. The fraternity sponsored the only three showings of the film, at San Diego State College in 1940.
