Coburn's V-7 Program at Northwestern University started as soon as his unit "pulled into Chicago." Two others of the 12 men from San Diego State College share his room: Walter Borg and Dick Wooley. Fred Jennings, Ray Gallein, Don Berg, and Toly Shio are on the same "deck." Some men had bad reactions to the vaccinations, but their experience in Chicago as a city has been good. Coburn encloses a photograph.
