Chase, Lionel E.
Chase and his battalion are having some relaxation and recreation "in a little French Villa on the ocean." A letter from the Adjutant General signals promotion, and he has "good rumours" that he may go back to the United States "to instruct heavy bombardment soon." A new address is on the Victory Mail form, but since he doesn't know how long he'll be there he says to send his "newsletters home."
