Larry Devlin called and Chase met with him and learned that he "is in the same outfit as Herbert Bachrach, San Diego State College alumnus from "along in 39," and "Ralph Small of '31." With Devlin he finally found Bob Wade for "the best time I've had in Africa." Wade and Devlin want to ride in a B-17 airplane. Chase heard from Su Ahn, Mary Daggett, Frances Coughlin and Willard Wallace, and he found out where Katherine Pyle is.
