Carter, Richard Joseph
"Divisional Training" is keeping Carter "quite busy" as they prepare to go "over seas in a couple of months." As the Operations Sergeant for the 1st Battalion, he says he wishes he still had his 81-mm Mortar Platoon instead of the "headache" he has now scheduling training. "After the schedule is approved" by three different levels, someone remembers that "area #1 will be under fire" then. His son was named "Little Trooper" by the nurses.
