"Things seem to be on the upgrade down here, as you may have surmised by reading the newspapers," Carr writes. They will have a "rest very soon." (The New Georgia Campaign was over November 3.) Jack Edwards, Wally Springstead and De Vore are "in the present fracas." There is news of John Sellwood, and George Kimball may be able to contact Barney Carman.
