Byrne, Charles T.
Byrne has not run into any others from San Diego State College except Charles Wilson, with whom he had a "fanning bee" (conference) at the Hotel Multnomah. He sends news of Wilson's brother Jack, Pete Walker and Vic Howard, and asks after Ken Bojens and Chris Gregg, possibly at the Astoria naval base. He mourns for Jerry Thomas, shot down over Italy in April, 1943.
