Berg is at the Amphibious Training Base. He and Don Eidemiller from San Diego State College are with the same flotilla but different groups as division officers of three assault boat crews, in Florida for advanced training. He reports on the weather and wonders what it is like in San Diego for both weather and "amphibious activities." He gives news of several other alumni and some details of amphibious training.
