The "HOD" written in red represents the fraternity Eta Omega Delta, to whom Benner sends a "hello" in his letter, especially to Steve Porter. Benner is at the University of Texas in the V-12 program. He would like more pictures of San Diego State College in the Aztec News Letter. He lists the men from there in his program, suggesting that the names be checked against the newsletter mailing list.
