Austin, Robert A.
Censorship prevents mentioning "geographical names, vegetation, natives, fauna, or, naturally ships movements." Austin sees no one else from San Diego State College, but has seen his father-in-law, an aviation machinist. Living on a "floating palace" with three dogs, he sings whenever he can, and he passes on news of the campus from his wife Margie, including musical events. He misses hearing Mrs. Post sing.
