Addleson, Herman H.
A line drawing of Camp Forrest adorns Addleson's letter as he asks for a change of address to Fort Benning. With tongue in cheek, he "blames" Dean Charles Peterson for his new address, because coach Peterson assigned "cross-country" running "until I couldn't walk anymore." So Addleton quit the "walking Infantry" for a unit that runs and will also be "jumping from 1200 feet." Addleson was killed in action on D-Day, Normandy, 1944.
