Tinkham, George E.
Referring to himself as a former "student(?)" at San Diego State College says that he had served overseas in both the world wars. In World War I he was an infantry engineer in a unit with "the greatest number of days on the line." He has also had a "rather long hitch in the so called battle zone" recently in a medical regiment. He describes the Brisbane environment of trees and animals as well as the weather.
