Thomey, Theodore
Thomey feels that he is "helping lose this war" in his comfortable office at the San Francisco Chronicle, referring to the continuing battle for Guadalcanal (begun August 7). Aside from thanking Lauren Post for the Aztec Service Men's News Letter, he would like to talk with Post "on the war," given the latter's knowledge of geography. He also thanks post for the "B" in geography class.
