Nakadate likes being outdoors in his new duties as a quartermaster with the Combat Readiness Training Center (CRTC). He hasn't seen any others from San Diego State College at Fort Riley, but he reports that his "buddies" there "think a lot of our S. D. State because of the Aztecs' spirit" shown in the newspapers and newsletters.
